Mark your calendars for a thrilling weekend of ringette action as the Silver Ring Tournament returns this November! Teams from across Alberta and Western Canada will gather in Edmonton for three days of fast-paced play, sportsmanship, and celebration. Whether you're chasing gold or building team memories, this event is a highlight of the season.

Tournament Format

Divisions Offered:

• U12 - A, B, C
• U14 - A, B, C
• U16 - A, B, C
• U19 - A, B

Structure:

• This is a Stay & Play tournament—teams are encouraged to book with our designated host hotels for convenience and team bonding
• Every team is guaranteed 4 games
• Medals awarded for Gold, Silver, and Bronze in each division

Registration Deadline:

• September 29, 2025

Fees: 

• U12 $1,000.00
• U14 $1,000.00
• U16 $1,100.00
• U19 $1,100.00

Payment:

• Credit card payment required at time of registration

Important Notes:

• Registration alone does not confirm entry—teams will be contacted by the tournament coordinator to confirm acceptance
• Acceptance notifications will be sent by September 30, 2025
• Teams not accepted will receive full refunds by October 6, 2025
• Withdrawals before September 29 will be refunded minus a $25 admin fee
• Withdrawals after September 29 are non-refundable; however, if the vacated spot is filled by a team of similar caliber, partial or full refunds may be considered depending on timing and impact to scheduling

🏨 Stay to Play Policy 

To help ensure fair access to accommodations and support the overall success of our events, Edmonton Ringette has implemented a Stay to Play policy for the November 2025 Silver Ring Tournament.

?? Who Does This Apply To?

All teams traveling 100 km or more (one way) to Edmonton are required to book their accommodations through our official partner, HTG Sports, in order to participate in the tournament.

• Distance is calculated using the Team Manager’s mailing address
• Once accepted into the tournament, teams will receive a booking code to use when reserving rooms through HTG Sports

📝 Exemption Requests

We understand that some teams or individuals may have unique circumstances. Exemptions from the Stay to Play policy may be granted under the following conditions:

• Proximity Exemption: Teams or athletes living within 100 km of Edmonton, or staying with family/friends within that radius, may request an exemption
• Special Exemption: Other exemption requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our Silver Ring Committee. A formal exemption form must be submitted for consideration

📌 Note: Clubs located within 100 km of Edmonton are not required to book through HTG Sports and are automatically exempt from this policy.

🏨 Hotel Booking

All accommodations for eligible teams must be arranged through HTG Sports, our exclusive hotel provider for the Silver Ring Tournaments.
